DESCRIPTION: Hamilton Watch Co., Lancaster, Penn., "950", 16 size, 23 jewels, stem wind, lever set, adjusted to 5 positions, damascened nickel plate movement with lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, double roller, gold timing screws, gold jewel settings, gold wheel train and whiplash micrometric regulator in a 14 karat yellow gold filled, hinged back and bezel open face case, with Arabic numerals, outer red five minute markers, double sunk white enamel dial, blued steel spade and whip hands, serial #1575419, c1925, 80.7g TW, with silk and velvet lined mahogany Hamilton box.
CONDITION: CASE: Shows extra case screw marks; Band with small dents and flat spot; Case back with a few shallow dents; Cuvette with small dents at 12:00 and with outward dimples from center jewel setting and screws and crown wheel screw; Fine scratches on outer surface of case; Very fine scratches on inner surface of case; Crown worn; Precious metal content marked. DIAL: A few tiny flakes at edge, 1:30, concealed by bezel, otherwise very good. HANDS: Small spot of discoloration on hour hand. MOVEMENT PLATES: A few fine scratches and pin pricks on plate; Ratchet wheel with fine scratch and a few faint specks of oxide; Barrel bridge with small gouge at bridge screw; Specks of dirt. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks). Box with minor scratches.
